How it works

The mirror has both a pivot joint and a ball joint giving it great freedom of angle adjustment, so that it can be used effectively on almost all SUVs, cargo or passenger vans (with rear windows) or mini-bus type vehicles.

   The Hawkeye works effectively on almost all SUVs, vans (with rear windows), mini-busses, station wagons and RVs. Best results are obtained if the vehicle’s rear window is straight up and down or less than 20 degrees from vertical. Satisfactory results will not be possible if the vehicle carries a spare tire mounted on the back! Otherwise, with proper placement (see Installation Instructions), excellent results are obtained, with a view of the entire blind spot, from the rear bumper of the vehicle to more than 10 ft. behind it, across the entire width of the vehicle!
